JD Mahoney Construction Named Silver Finalist in the NAHB National Sales and Marketing Awards

JD Mahoney Construction has been named a Silver Finalist in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Sales and Marketing Awards for Best Product Design Custom Home. JD Mahoney Construction was recognized with this award for “Villa Sienna,” a historically accurate Robert Martignoni design priced at $699,000. The home is located in Briar Chapel, a Newland Communities development in Chatham County. Company President JD Mahoney will go to Las Vegas for the National Awards Dinner, a feature highlight of NAHB’s International Builders Show, in January 2010, to celebrate the receipt of this coveted Silver Award and to potentially receive the Gold Award in this category. Exceptional advertising, merchandising, product design and sales efforts are recognized at this event, having been judged by sales and marketing leaders from across the country. Recognition from this national organization in the form of a Silver or a Gold Award is considered a great honor throughout the industry. JD Mahoney Construction is a member of the Chatham Builder Guild at Briar Chapel. Members of the Guild are long-standing members of the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties, and are active participants in Green Home Builders of the Triangle.

Effective immediately, RE/MAX UNITED-New Homes Services is handling all sales and marketing activities for K. Hovnanian® new home communities in the Triangle area. These communities consist of Belmont, Heritage Pines, and Upchurch Farms in Cary, Davenport in Creedmoor, Stoneybrook in Durham, Westerly in Franklinton, Eagle Ridge in Garner, Carriage Estates in Holly Springs, Rockbridge in Knightdale, Providence Place in Morrisville, Anderson Pointe in Raleigh, Granite Crest and Granite Falls in Rolesville, Kensington Manor and Richland Hills in Wake Forest, and Olde Liberty in Youngsville.

Avocet
Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston Builder Services announces that the sales model for Avocet is now open. Granite Falls
Ross Construction, Inc., Innovative Construction Group (ICG Homes) and K. Hovnanian Homes have joined the Granite Falls Communities Builder Team. Granite Falls Communities consists of three “lifestyle” neighborhoods located in the heart of Rolesville, minutes from I-540 and Triangle Town Center in Raleigh and numerous shopping and entertainment options in Wake Forest. Also at Granite Falls, all facilities at the new Falls Swim and Athletic Club are now open. Activities are now in full swing at the 60,000 square foot full service athletic center with over 30,000 square feet of interior space dedicated to fitness and indoor aquatics.
Heritage Wake Forest
Ammons Development Group is pleased to announce the selection of Terramor Homes to join the exclusive builder team at Heritage Wake Forest. Terramor Homes is slated to build homes in the new Heritage Run community. This collection of new homes will range in size from 1,900 – 3,400 sq. ft. and will be priced from the $220’s.
Heritage Wake Forest would also like to welcome Jon Carter Builder and Dillon Construction who have started homes in Heritage Dale and Spainhour Custom Homes and HMB Construction who will be building in both Heritage Dale and Heritage Midlands. The Villages of Apex
Mike Howington, President of Apex First Development, has announced that two new builders will join the team at The Villages of Apex. Halle Building Group, a prominent residential and commercial builder out of Northern Virginia is bringing their expertise to the Triangle market. The Seaboard Collection from Halle Building Group will feature single family homes from the low $200’s. Floorplans, both ranch and two story, will range in size from 1600 to 2700 square feet. Experience One Builders, headed by local builder/developer team Lanny Caldwell and David Schmitt will also join the team at the Villages of Apex. They have been building homes for over 25 years in the Triangle, including Preston and Kitts Creek. Their Charleston Collection will feature single family, Charleston style homes ranging in size from 1750 to 2100 square feet starting in the low $200s. |
